AFL 2026 Stats & Betting Guide

2026 AFL ladder with the betting stats that matter — average scores, percentage, form, and team comparison tools. Sort by any column, compare two clubs head-to-head, and find the edges before the bounce. Our Scoring tab breaks down each club's offensive and defensive output and combined total for over/under analysis. Use our Compare tool to weigh up any two clubs across record, scoring, and percentage before placing a bet.

Using AFL Percentage for Betting

AFL percentage is calculated by dividing total points scored by total points conceded, then multiplying by 100. It is one of the most reliable indicators of a club's actual strength because it captures both attack and defence across every game played. When two clubs have similar win-loss records, percentage consistently gives the better read on which side deserves to be favoured on the line.

Reading AFL Form and Streak Data

The Form column in our ladder shows each club's last five results. A team on a winning streak with rising percentage is often worth backing — especially at home. Equally, a club on a losing run with falling percentage warrants caution even at attractive odds. Form adds momentum context to what the ladder standings show on the surface.

Over/Under Betting Using the Scoring Tab

AFL totals markets are driven by the scoring profiles of both teams. Our Scoring tab shows average points scored, average points conceded, and average combined total per game for every club. Matching the two teams' profiles quickly shows whether a game sets up as a high-scoring shootout or a tight, low-scoring contest — then compare that against the bookmaker total to find the value.

Head-to-Head Comparison Tool

Our Compare tab lets you select any two clubs and see a direct side-by-side breakdown of wins, scoring averages, score differential, and ladder percentage. The visual bars make it easy to identify where one team holds a clear edge — useful for both head-to-head and line markets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which AFL team scores the most points per game?
Our Scoring tab ranks all 18 clubs by average score per game for the 2026 season. Sort by Avg Score, Avg Against, or Avg Total to spot the high-scoring matchups ideal for overs or the low-scoring grinders for unders.
How do I use AFL percentage for betting?
AFL percentage (points scored ÷ points conceded × 100) is one of the most reliable indicators of a club's true strength. It captures both attack and defence across the full season, making it more useful than the win-loss record alone when assessing line markets.
What over/under stats does the AFL Data Hub provide?
Our Scoring tab shows average points scored, average points conceded, and combined average total for every club. That makes it easy to identify fast, open matchups versus slow, grinding contests before comparing against the bookmaker total.
How do I compare two AFL teams head-to-head?
Use our Compare tab to select any two clubs. You'll see a side-by-side breakdown of wins, average score, average conceded, score differential, percentage, and ladder points — with visual bars to help spot mismatches quickly.
What does form and streak tell me about an AFL team?
The Form column shows each club's last five results (W/L/D). The Streak column shows their current run. A team on a four-game winning streak with improving percentage is often undervalued in the market — particularly at home.
How often is the AFL Data Hub updated?
Ladder standings and scoring data refresh every 6 hours, pulling directly from our data provider. After each round, the ladder, form, percentage, and scoring averages will all update automatically.
Which stats are most useful for AFL line betting?
Percentage and average score differential are the two strongest indicators for line markets. A club with a high percentage but a middling win-loss record is typically stronger than the ladder suggests — and vice versa for teams who have been winning close games.
