Best Odds
Ugly watch, but the market’s pretty clear
This one looks like a slog. Chicago are in freefall (L9) and playing like a side that’s just waiting for the season to end. Charlotte aren’t world-beaters, but they’ve at least been functional (7-3 last 10) and their points differential (+1.8) says they’re the steadier outfit.
The books have the Hornets short for a reason. Bulls are leaking 120.2 a night and it’s not a “bad luck” thing when you’re losing this often.

Moneyline vs the line
Best value: Hornets moneyline @ 1.34 (Medium). It’s not sexy, but it’s the cleanest angle on the board. Charlotte’s recent form and positive diff stacks up against a Bulls side running at -3.8 and spiralling.
The spread is where it gets interesting. You’re being asked to lay Bulls +8.5 @ 1.95, and the raw differential gap points more to a ~6-point game than 9. That’s the case for a Bulls cover: the number’s a touch fat.
But here’s the catch: Chicago’s current vibe is toxic. When a team is losing every night, late-game execution goes first, and that’s how +8.5 turns into a backdoor loss that never threatened. Small lean to Bulls +8.5, but it’s not a must-bet.
If you’re hunting more reads, the style is similar to this Atlanta Hawks vs Washington Wizards Preview & Prediction write-up — messy teams, messy numbers.
Props: where the edge might actually live
Best prop: Ryan Kalkbrenner Over 5.5 points @ 1.92. His season average is 8.4, so the line is priced like he’s barely involved. Against a Bulls defence giving up big nights regularly, you don’t need a feature role — just a couple of looks and some put-backs to get to 6.
Coby White rebounds is the other one. He averages 3.7, but Over 2.5 @ 2.32 is a pure price play. At that number you’re basically betting variance, not a role change. If you’re only taking one prop, stick with Kalkbrenner points.
That’s the lot for these NBA predictions: Hornets ML first, cautious lean Bulls +8.5 second.
